Terms of Service

Draft terms for a transparent Pinterest publishing workflow.

This is a practical draft intended for launch preparation and reviewer readiness. It should be reviewed and finalized by qualified counsel before public deployment.

Important note

This draft contains legal placeholders and needs review.

Before launch, replace placeholders for ИП АЛЕКСЕЕВ В.В., Russian Federation, г. Санкт-Петербург, ул. Кирочная, 3, support@pinboardy.ru, and all billing-specific terms.

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Pinboardy, operated by ИП АЛЕКСЕЕВ В.В.. By using the service, users agree to these terms and the linked policies.

Core terms

The service is offered as a workflow assistant, not a promise of platform outcomes.

These draft terms are designed to align with a transparent, review-first, OAuth-based product model.

1. Scope of service

Pinboardy is presented as a software service that helps users connect Pinterest accounts through OAuth, upload user-controlled content, prepare AI-generated draft metadata, review drafts, and publish approved pins. The service is not offered as a scraping system, hidden posting engine, growth manipulation tool, or password-based account access layer.

2. Eligibility and account responsibility

Users are responsible for ensuring that they are authorized to use the service, that all information submitted to the service is accurate, and that the content they upload belongs to them or is lawfully licensed for publication. Users remain responsible for activity performed through their account.

3. Pinterest connection and platform rules

Users must comply with Pinterest terms, policies, API requirements, and platform restrictions. The service may suspend, limit, or terminate access if an integration is used in a way that could violate platform rules, abuse access permissions, or create unreasonable compliance risk.

4. User content and generated drafts

Users retain responsibility for uploaded content and any final publication decisions. AI-generated titles, descriptions, alt text, keywords, and board suggestions are drafts only. Users are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving output before publication.

5. Payments and plan limits

Paid plans, usage limits, fair use thresholds, renewal timing, billing cycles, taxes, and refund rights should be customized before launch. If billing is enabled, pricing and plan terms should be published clearly on the pricing page or in an order form.

6. Suspension and termination

The service may suspend or terminate access to protect Pinboardy, other users, Pinterest integrations, or third parties from abuse, infringement, unlawful conduct, or repeated policy violations. Users may stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion through the published deletion flow.

Additional legal points

The final version should also cover standard SaaS protections.

These topics should remain in the final terms, even if the wording changes during legal review.

Ownership of software, branding, documentation, and non-user intellectual property.

License scope, restrictions, and prohibited reverse engineering except where required by law.

Disclaimers regarding service availability, AI output accuracy, and third-party platform dependencies.
